Competition statuses are used to determine who has access to view and edit competition details.

Draft	The competition is only visible to the admin Every competition will start in Draft
Published	Main competition details can be seen by anyone but only admins have access to edit details Organization Managers and/or team managers register their teams Technical officials and UMs can manage appointments
Verify	The TD can access the competition and details such as players and team staff Technical officials approve teams The TD can move the competition into In Progress
In Progress	Technical officials have access to manage Matches Technical officials manage matches The competition can appear as a featured competition on the public landing page
Official	All the matches are Official and final standings have been confirmed Technical officials and team staff can no longer make any changes

The TD can change the competition to Official, however only an Admin can make changes to the competition (including the status) once it is Official.
